This is how my managers and colleagues describe me:
My philosophy when hiring is: “skills can be learned; attitude can’t.” Timmy has good skills and a very good attitude. He is quick to pick ideas. He was almost too enthusiastic if that is possible. Timmy is able to communicate his needs effectively so that I can help him when needed. He is not afraid to ask questions. He is positive and works well with other members of staff and volunteers.
The first week Timmy was hired, he created a brochure for membership. This became the prototype for a much later version. Timmy never gave up on working to make it better and his attitude remained positive in spite of the many revisions and the limited amount of time I had to help him. He is the kind of worker every employer likes: a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a pleasure to have as part of your team.

Timmy was instrumental to the community management of Eat St, interacting directly with fans across a variety of channels. This was especially important as Eat St. was going through a major version release and many street cart vendors relied on the application to reach their customers. He takes impressive ownership in his projects and you never have to worry about something falling through the cracks because he is already two steps ahead. Would work with him again in a heartbeat.
– Sam Wempe, Account Coordinator, Invoke Media
While working on Eat St., Timmy was given a very specific and important objective, of which he took full responsibility for – improving the accuracy of the 4,000+ street food vendors in our iPhone app’s database. Timmy carried out the research and data entry with a smile and found ways to improve the current processes we used to input the data. He also lead the community outreach efforts, persuading 20 street food experts and 1000 truck owners from around North America to update the app’s food truck records. He was able to ask in such a way that people were delighted to help for free.
Timmy was also involved with the community management aspect of Eat St. Timmy managed the Facebook and Twitter channels, coordinated blog articles between 10 contributors, and contributed 10 posts to the Eat St. blog.
Timmy was a great addition to the team and his sense of responsibility for his important task was impressive. He learned quickly in his 3 months at Invoke and came to thrive in its fast-paced environment. I highly recommend Timmy for employment. He is excellent at organizing and prioritizing tasks, taking ownership of his projects and communicating within his team.
– Corey Dilley, Marketing and Business Development Manager, Invoke Media
Timmy is a team player who’s eager to expand his skill set and carries out strategy efficiently. His attention to detail and ability to take ownership of projects and see them through autonomously was instrumental to moving marketing initiatives forward.
